I have spent my professional career suffering from a dabbling problem. With diverse interests and a passionate personality, my work has mirrored my life.
Planning my wedding ignited my love for stationery and I spent several years designing and assembling bespoke wedding and event invitation suites.
My childbearing years saw me certify as a doula and primarily help other birth workers develop their branding and promotional materials.
As my kids entered school, my attention turned to education and working with curriculum developers to design beautiful and engaging textbooks for their students.
Throughout this time, my passion projects include illustrating surface patterns and creating interactive workbooks in the solopreneur and self-help markets.

I worked with a nonprofit educational organization to bring their early reading curriculumn to life. The first editon of these textbooks were designed with a tight deadline to get them published and in teacher's hands. The second edition saw significant improvements in functionality.

This passion project was to bring to life the updated lullaby I sang to my kids. I wanted to illustrate a bicultural family like my own. To give the pages a mixed media feel, I applied a felt effect to the characters.
Surface patterns
This surface pattern was born from the inspration I found in the unusual round fields of the Midwest while browsing Google Earth. I imagined what it would be like to look through a rainbow on this land below.
Logo Design
Being able to "speak the same language" as doulas, midwives, lactation consultants, and childbirth educators means I can easily translate their visions into reality. I have helped over 100 birth workers jumpstart their business with unique and personalized branding.
I worked with a blogger to develop the branding and design of her digital product and accompanying retreat info. I worked with her through every stage from conception through execution.
